IVAS Virtual Special Issues
Contributors at IVAS 2024 will have the choice of submitting articles for inclusion in one of two virtual special issues:
i) Journal of Agricultural Food Chemistry (and other American Chemical Society [ACS] publications)
ii) OENO One (International Viticulture and Enology Society [IVES] publication)
The details and timelines for each special issue are outlined below.
IVAS 2024 / Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry (ACS) virtual special issue
-
In 2024, IVAS will collaborate with the American Chemical Society and publish articles in a virtual special issue. The key journal involved for the IVAS/ACS virtual special issue will be The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, but those deemed outside the scope of this journal may be directed to Food Science and Technology, or Agricultural Science and Technology journal.
-
The article title, corresponding author name and author email must be supplied to the IVAS Conference President (aclark@csu.edu.au) by the close of business on 31st July 2024.
-
Articles will be pre-selected by the JAFC editorial board in early August 2024 and those successful will be sent an offer in mid-August via email. To proceed, the corresponding authors must agree via a link in the invitation email, after which the invited manuscript will appear in their ACS dashboard.
-
The final versions of the articles will need to be submitted by 15th November 2024. After the submission articles will follow the usual reviewing process of JAFC.
IVAS 2024 / OENO One (IVES) virtual special issue
-
In 2024, IVAS will collaborate with the International Viticulture and Enology Society (IVES). A selection of articles (approx. 10) will be published in Open Access in a special issue of OENO One.
-
Contributors wishing to be part of the OENO One special issue must express interest during the abstract submission (i.e., tick the relevant check box).
-
Based on the list of interested candidates, the final articles for inclusion into the OENO One special issue will be pre-selected by an IVAS/OenoOne committee by April 2024, and invitations sent to candidates.
-
Papers can be submitted within the period 30th June 2024 to 15th November 2024, with the final deadline being 15th November 2024. After submission, the articles will follow the usual reviewing process of OENO One.
